Upon completion of her Pharm.D., she went to the William S. Middleton VA Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin where she then completed a specialty residency in Primary Care. Dr. Sexson joined the Creighton faculty in July of 2006 and practices in an ambulatory setting at the Omaha VA where she is involved with various clinics specializing in managment of congestive heart failure, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, and diabetes. Dr. Sexson is also involved in teaching in Pharmacotherapy and Introduction to Pharmaceutical Care as well as taking 4th year Creighton pharmacy students during their ambulatory care experiential rotations.
