Students from medicine, nursing, pharmacy, occupational therapy and physical therapy can participate in 3-day short term cultural and clinical immersion experiences. These experiences include the following activities:

• Cultural awareness training
• Engage in Native American hand games
• Eat cultural foods
• Tour health facilities
• Clinical observation with prospective health discipline
• Interprofessional education
• Complete service project
• Meet with community members

Students receive FREE transportation and meals. Spaces are limited and 2 such experiences are offered each semester. Students must be able to commit to all 3 days and complete the on-line orientation.
